My name is Brittney, and my greatest passion in life is working with animals. I became a pet sitter in 2015 after purchasing my first home. What started as a simple offer to help neighbors care for their pets eventually turned into a dream come true! Ever since I was a young girl, I had dreamed of working with animals professionally. My childhood family dog was one of my best friends growing up and had a huge impact on my life, inspiring me to one day turn my love for animals into a career.

 

After graduating high school in 2010, I began taking college courses to become a Veterinary Technician. However, I soon realized the emotional challenges of that field weren’t the right fit for me. Over the next six years, I worked as an office administrator for two firms in Tacoma and Fife. During my final year of administrative work, I started pet sitting on the side and it didn’t take long for me to realize this was truly my calling.

 

On June 21st, 2015, I officially opened my home to care for beloved pets, and I’ve loved every moment since! Being a pet sitter has been an incredibly rewarding experience, and I am deeply grateful not only to my amazing clients who have trusted me over the years, but also to my friends and family who have fully supported my love and passion for what I do. I wouldn’t be where I am today without the encouragement and belief of so many incredible people.

 

I have three beloved pups of my own. Zeek (an 11-year-old Australian Cattle Dog/Bull Terrier mix), Biggie Smalls (a 4-year-old Boston Terrier/Australian Cattle Dog mix), and our newest addition, Howdy (a 7-month-old Bernese Mountain Dog/Australian Shepherd mix). Boston, my sweetest soul pup and first dog as a young adult, passed away in October 2024 at the age of 14, but will forever hold a special place in my heart and in the foundation of my business. For nine wonderful years, he welcomed countless new dog friends into our home and helped them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. He was truly the foundation of my business and the reason so much of what I do today is built on love, patience, and connection.

Together, my dogs have taught me valuable lessons and shaped me into the dog person I am today. Their welcoming nature and love for making new friends carry into the way I care for every pup who joins us.
